The word chakra is a Sanskrit word meaning wheel and in reality it defines whirling vortices
of energy that connect the energy body with the mind.
There are many of these centres or chakras points in the body, but the most important ones are seven major chakras.
The chakras have a particular relationship with all the colours of the rainbow.
When these seven chakra centers/points are open, we live in a world of virtue and happiness and we are integrated in our lives.
When the chakras are blocked they are just reflecting closed aspects of our mind.
In my opinion the chakras are the record keepers of our lives, every emotion and thought is stored in our chakras.
When one of the chakras is blocked or out of balance, the rest of the chakras in consequence are out of balance. Which brings total disharmony to the whole body, even if an illness is not yet manifested, you will feel out of sorts and lack energy and motivation, if that is not dealt with and the chakras are cleared and balanced, after a while an illness or imbalance starts to manifest in the body
