The root cause of an illness
Thoughts, emotions, beliefs and memories contain real energy that is stored unconsciously in the physical body. Negative emotions themselves do not cause problems, our resistance to feeling them and releasing their energy in a constructive way causes the problem.
When you avoid feeling negative emotions and beliefs, your body's musculature physically constricts and holds on to them. Held tightly in the body over a period of time, these negative emotions, limiting beliefs and traumatic memories form blockages and energetic disturbances that lead to physical health problems. Certainly, your health can be affected adversely by external factors such as bacteria and viruses, as well as poor life choices, bad habits and accidents. But many health problems result from an energetic disturbances caused by the unconscious mind trapping a negative emotions or limiting belief in the body.
The Human Aura
All living things are surrounded by their own electromagnetic field known as the Aura.
In humans, the aura is egg-shaped, It comprises six layers of sheaths which penetrate each other and our body.
Illnesses usually occur first in the energy body before they become symptoms or full blown health problem in the physical body.
How does energy healing work?
When positive energy such as light and colour is applied to the aura, a release usually happens, sometimes the release is felt on a physical level immediately, and sometimes it occurs on a very subtle level but the shifts has already happened, and healing has occured on a very deep level.
Yoga Nidra and the art of relaxation
Yoga Nidra, is a form of meditation, with a powerful technique in which you relax consciously.
Yoga Nidra and deep breathing are tools I use for healing in my clinic, to release fear/ anxiety or trauma the body should be in a total relaxation and the patient must feel in a safe space to do so.
For absolute relaxation you must remain aware. Yoga Nidra is a systematic method of inducing complete physical, mental and emotional relaxation. During the practice of Yoga Nidra, one appears to be asleep, but the consciousness is functioning at a deeper level of awareness. For this reason, Yoga Nidra is often referred to as psychic sleep or deep relaxation with inner awareness.
Yoga Nidra helps with
- Increasing memory function
- Integrates both hemispheres of the brain
- Increases stress resistance
- Cancer therapy
- Insomnia
- Drug addiction and alcoholism
